How to Import your TSW Profile

This guide is designed to help players transfer their in-game profile from TSW 2-4 to Train Sim World 5. We would recommend that you import your profile when prompted to on first log-in, to ensure that your Creators Club content is transferred. Data that will be transferred during this process includes:

  • Driver Profile
  • Journey Mode Progress
  • Completed Scenarios/Services
  • Scores & Medals
  • Livery Designer Creations
  • Scenario Planner Creations
  • Formation Designer Creations

Requirements

  • You have profile in TSW 2-5 on the same platform (e.g. Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store).
  • You cannot transfer a profile from a different platform (e.g. PS4 > PS5 or Xbox App for PC  > Steam).
  • You cannot import a profile with the same name as one you already have.

How to Transfer Your Profile

  1. Open your game.
  2. Go to My Profile.

  1. Now click on Switch > Profile > Import Profile.
  2. Import your most recent profile from the newest game in the selection available.

What If I already created a profile with the same name?

If you created a profile in the new game with the same name as your old profile, then this will create a conflict, blocking you from importing your old profile. To resolve the problem, we need to delete the conflicting profile.

First, create a temporary profile in the new game with a unique name. Switch to this profile and delete the conflicting profile. Now you can import your old profile.

Interference from external applications/antivirus software

If you are having trouble importing a profile on a PC and you meet the requirements above, it's likely that Windows or software on your PC is blocking the game from accessing the data it needs to access. Please thoroughly work through the following guide to resolve the problem.

Manually Transferring your profile on PC

On, PC, you have the option of manually transferring your saves from TSW 2-5 to Train Sim World 6 if you play on Steam or the Epic Games Store. By default, the game will store your profile at the location below. Copying the contents of the Saved folder from one game to the other
